Custom Collage Charms, Pendants, Bracelets, and Necklaces
Class Start Date: Saturday, November 22, 2008 9am-4pm
Instructor: Melinda Barta
Cost: $90 + $15 kit fee
Learn to create found-object and paper collages and seal them inside bezels and charms using three different resin/finishing techniques. We will then turn the charms into personalized necklaces and bracelets using basic wireworking and stringing techniques—a great way to make quick, personalized gifts just in time for the holidays. You'll be sure to leave class with a handful of finished projects! No experience required.
Materials included in kit: Assortment of blank metal bezels and charms, non-toxic resin powder, wire, chain, jump rings, clasp, and found-object collage materials
OPTIONAL: Students may bring these materials to class:
Scissors, personal lighting if desired (no intricate seed bead work required), favorite photos, small found objects, charms, beads, chain, wireworking tools, or scrapbooking papers.
