We had to put our family dog "Max" down today!
He lived 17 years.
The past 2 weeks, we could see each day his quality of life was not what it used to be.
A hard decision but a more peaceful way for him to go.
It totally sucks that pets have short life spans.
Max, you will be missed.... Mostly, by your boys! Rest in Peace!

I am so sorry. I am a dog lover and have had to part with my aging pets. You made a brave and difficult decision to let him go.

I know he is in a much better space, no longer in pain!

I have been blog surfing and found your blog. Just wanted to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear Max. He looks like a sweet fellow. He'll surely be waiting for you and your family at the Rainbow Bridge.
